HYGIENIST |
Dental HygienistOur hygienist, Beth Gilbert, qualified from Portsmouth University in 2021 and prior to that worked in dentistry for several years as a dental nurse. She works at the practice on Thursday afternoons and provides additional hygiene services to our patients such as de-scaling, polishing, oral hygiene instruction and treatment of gum disease. She is also able to offer some cosmetic treaments such as 'Air-polishing' to remove heavy staining and tooth whitening. |
How to bookIf you would like to see the hygienist please talk to your dentist or contact » reception. Your dentist will refer you for individual treatment or for a regular 3 monthly cleaning in between your check-ups. Registered patients are welcome to book appointments directly with reception. Remember, it is important that you still attend your regular 6 month appointments with your dentist to check the overall health of your teeth and mouth. |
